BROTHER ALI

Jason Newman was raised in Michigan and at the age of 15 moved to Minneapolis, MI. It was there where he converted from Christianity to Muslim. Brother Ali has suffered scrutiny for being Albino and legally blind. Many of his lyrics encourage his listeners to

stand up and be proud if you're different. He has been a lover of Hip-Hop his whole life. Ali tours with DJ, BK One and Hype Man, Toki Wright. Brother Ali has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman as well as Late Night with Conan Obrien. Brother Ali has also been featured in Rolling Stone magazine and The Source.
